Khan Academy: Statistics: Contingency Table Chi Square Test

Chime in and learn about chi-square tests. An informative video describes when chi-square tests would be appropriate and how to perform chi-square tests. It looks at three different types: the goodness of fit test, the test of...

Sal uses the contingency table chi-square test to see if a couple of different herbs prevent people from getting sick.

A video about contingency Table Chi-Square Test.

Introduce the concept of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and degrees of freedom with a short video that also covers the chi-square test and works through several examples to help viewers understand the material.

Introduction to the chi-square test for homogeneity.

Video gives an example of the step by step process of using a Pearson's chi-square test to accept or reject a hypothesized data distribution. [11:48]

This set contains questions about statistics regarding the chi-square tests for independence and for homogeneity of proportions. The student learns to develop hypotheses, find the test statistic, and reach a conclusion.

This set contains questions about statistics regarding the chi-square test for goodness of fit. The student learns to develop hypotheses, find the test statistic, and reach a conclusion in the context of the original problem.

Students perform chi-square tests to see if data follows a hypothesized distribution. They also study the two-way table analysis.

Chi-square test for association/independence.
