Kawasaki disease (also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome) is a type of vasculitis that affects medium arteries. Patients with Kawasaki disease can have symptoms like rashes on the palms of hands, soles of feet, and a tongue rash (called a strawberry tongue).
