Kimi and Jordan have taken summer jobs to supplement their weekly allowances. Kimi earns more per hour than Jordan, but Jordan's weekly allowance is greater. This activity asks students to determine how the incomes of the two workers compare under different sets of conditions. In order to complete the tasks, pupils must devise a method to describe a relationship between two quantities. Various methods of solution are given for each question, including graphical, algebraic, tabular, and reasoning from the context. Good teacher notes are included.
