A is for Autism

Learners view a film that dicuss the unusual behaviour of the protagonist and narrator of the novel 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.' They discuss how Christopher has Asperger's Syndrome. Students discuss how Asperger's Syndrome is considered to be part of the autistic spectrum and, like Autism, is often characterised by deficiencies in social and communication skills.
