Fourth graders examine habitats for animals by creating their own in class environment.  In this environment activity, 4th graders research the Internet for information on certain wild animals and the places in which they live.  Students utilize outdoor materials with the addition of coloring tools to create model environments similar to the ones animals live in.

Lesson Planet has changed my whole teaching style. I am able to customize my lesson plans for relevance not by what is already available. I like the relevance to issues facing today's youth.
