Fifth graders create a tri- fold brochure around the topic of a colonial settlement that has been studied in the classroom for about 2 weeks prior to the workshop. They work with Publisher to create a brochure about a specific settlement. They research the settlement prior to the workshop in the focus areas that are outlined in the tri-fold brochure.
