Fingerprinting Lab

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students recover latent prints by iodine fuming, cyanoacrylate fuming, and dusting with powder, after a lecture/discussion on fingerprinting techniques. They each provide a fingerprint for identification by another student. A database of the class is made to help in the identifications of the unknown print.
