Students explore the process of inventing a new product. In this inventions lesson, students explore a timeline that gives a history on significant inventions from ancient times to the present. Students look at pictures of the inventions and discuss why it was created and what the inventor must have been thinking. Students read about kids as inventors on a website and work in small groups to come up with their own invention.
