Visit to Ackland Art Museum (African Masks Exhibit)

Middle schoolers are encourage to try their hand at traditional Oceania tapa art by crafting their own cloth using brown paper bags. Included in the resource is background information about the cultures of Oceania and their art. 

This printable guide is to be used in conjunction with the African Vision web site from the NMAfA. It offers six different activites to try on your own including connections between art and science as well as some games.
