Liquid Volume

Eighth and ninth graders calculate the volume of a rectangular prism and a cylinder. In this liquid volume lesson plan, pupils use formulas to calculate the volumes of cylinders and prisms and then they use water to determine the volumes of the same containers. They compare their answers.
