Macrostates and Microstates

Sal introduces Macrostates and Microstates in this chemistry video. He shows students that pressure, temperature, and volume are considered to be in the Macrostates category. However, kinetic energy, force, and velocity are considered to be in the Microstates category. He uses an example of an inflated balloon to make the important distinctions between these two states.
