Making a Travel Brochure of a Louisiana Parish

Learners choose a parish in Louisiana (or a city in your state) to research, using the internet and library to gather information. They locate it on a map and create a travel brochure to convince others to come visit. Consider also including a presentation segment where scholars act as travel agents, advertising their vacation destination to "tourists." The instructions here are dated; you probably won't need to instruct kids in how to open an internet browser.
