Mass-Mass Relationships

Students investigate mass-mass relationships using potassium carbonate and hydrochloric acid. In this mass-mass relationship lesson plan, students measure a certain amount of potassium carbonate and determine how much hydrochloric acid they will need for the reaction. They recover their potassium chloride and compare it with the predicted amount to form.

The new resource preview feature is awesome! It is extremely easy to both find materials and align them with the Common Core Standards. I use those a lot since they are not state-specific, and my lessons must meet the needs of students from different states as well as other countries. You will help me save a lot of planning time!
