Create number sentences and equations to solve geometric problems. Each activity in the series of five asks young mathematicians to consider different-sized tiles to build structures according to specific criteria. The first activities, which target elementary-aged pupils, focus on trial-and-error strategies. Later lessons, meant for middle and high school, use equations and systems of equations to find the solutions.
