Young scholars portray the mood of a piece of music in a drawing.  In this mood in music lesson plan, students discuss how music creates a mood.  Young scholars listen to Vivaldi's "Four Seasons," "The Wreck of The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" as well as the African-American "We Will Overcome."  Students draw whatever they think of when they hear the different songs, distinguishing happiness, sadness, melancholy, or excitement.
