Classroom Considerations

  • This really is a book in PDF format; since this is the case, some of the activities are described in paragraph form rather than on handouts
  • While the book was published some time ago, the activities and strategies are still relevant and do apply to the Common Core State Standards

Pros

  • Comes with plenty of writing prompts and activities to choose from that will help your learners develop their writing skills
  • Breaks narrative writing down into various categories so that you can focus on what you need for your class
  • Includes worksheets you can use during your writing unit or at any other time that works for your class

Cons
