Native American Philanthropists

Young scholars demonstrate how Native Americans were philanthropic. In this philanthropy instructional activity, students read Squanto's Journey and brainstorm ways that the Native Americans were helpful towards the Pilgrims. Young scholars reflect on the long-term effects of their kindness and perform acts of kindness themselves.
