Oh Deer! and English Learner Writing Extensions

Young scholars follow deer through Yellowstone Park and record the number of deer from year to year. In this basic needs of deer instructional activity, students work in small groups and chart the number of deer each year and give explanations using as scarcity, ample, ascend, and few to describe the reasons for movement or lose of the deer populations.
