Open Wide at the Dentist, "Aaaahh"

Study the /o/ in both written and spoken words by reciting a tongue twister and making words using Elkonin letterboxes. Next, write a message about frogs using /o/ words. Finally, listen to a short book talk on "Doc in the Fog" before reading the book with a partner and then listen for /o/ words while the teacher reads it. Finally, read a page from the book for the teacher as an assessment.

Lori H.
I have been extremely happy with the materials I've located. I'm always looking for new ways to spice things up with my high school students. I use group activities quite often to help my students so finding other ideas is a time-saver for sure. Member since 2010.
