Path Finder Science: Tardigrades

This site displays information about a tardigrades research study that students were involved in. Tardigrades are fascinating, tiny creatures that can survive under the most extreme conditions. The structure of the project is there for teachers wishing to replicate it. It has a graphic organizer guide for students (in the 'Doing Research' section) where they can follow the steps for their research. Each step links to information (on this site) that they can use, including extensive background information on tardigrades. As this is an older site, some of the links to other sites or to the coordinating scientists no longer work.
