In the video Hundley's Great Escape, Curious George and the cat, Gnocchi, can easily climb out through a window in the basement when the door closes behind them. Now George must figure out how to build a ramp so that Hundley, a little dachshund, can get out, too. Before watching the Curious George video, students play with ramps and things that roll in order to understand simple machines. Afterwards, they conduct additional experiments with ramps.
