Pbs Learning Media: The Women's Movement

This is a collection of eight short videos designed to cover the two waves of Women's Movement in the United States: The first wave in the 19th and early 20th century with leaders such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton fighting for women's rights to vote and own property. The second wave in the 1960s and 70s with leaders like Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem in an attempt to reduce social inequalities.
