Place Values

In this place value worksheet, students learn how to break down a larger number into individual place values. For example, 4753 = 4000 + 700 + 50 + 3. The worksheet contains 6 equations like the example provided, but one of the place values is missing. Students fill it in. The worksheet also contains 4 questions in which a 4-digit number is given, and students must write down what a specified number is worth in that 4-digit number.
