Post World War II Popular Culture

Students assess and evaluate changes in popular culture between 1945-1963 with emphasis on music and movies/television. Students identify and analyze the Postwar period with such other topics as the economic boom and the cold war. Students engage the primary documents of statistics, articles, film and television clips, music and other visual images that compare the beginning of the postwar era with the end.
