Pressure: Pressure Experiment

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Pressure: Pressure Experiment ppt also includes:
  • Graphic & Image
  • Join to access all included materials

A short PowerPoint to help increase pupils' understanding of pressure. A number of pictures show different types of shoes and open a discussion of how force from a body is applied over different areas, (which translates into different forces and pressures). The experiment set-up that is shown could be used easily in your class and would be great in helping young scientists to test out hypotheses.
