Primary Geometry

Young scholars identity simple geometric shapes. In this early geometry activity, the teacher introduces students to triangles, squares, and rectangles, then young scholars identify and classify the shapes as they are found in the classroom. To complete the activity, the students cut out shapes and make them into other shapes and play a game for reinforcement.

Jesenia R.
Lesson plans are so much easier to write with all the ideas I get from Lesson Planet. As a student teacher I really appreciate the ideas and experience I can get from other teachers.
