Using everyday, familiar scenarios, this problem solving activity has students read math story problems and determine the operation necessary to solve each. Students determine the necessary information, and utilize either basic addition, subtraction, or multiplication to find answers. Nine problems are on this one activity, with an answer sheet attached. Consider having students underline pertinent information and write out the equation numerically.
