This is just the tip of iceberg when it comes to letter recognition! This idea is simple, but there are so many directions you can take it. Make two sets of die-cut lowercase letters a-z. Take one set and glue it to individual cards. With the cards face-up and the die-cut set laid out in rows. Learners flip a card, name the letter, and find its die-cut match. Consider doing the cards in uppercase to learners match cases. Also, you could put first-sound images on the cards to have learners match the letters to the sounds. Pre-done cards in both cases are included.
