Middle schoolers have years of experience when it comes to how their bodies work. Surely they have some questions as well. Here is an opportunity for them to practice the scientific method in an attempt to answer some of those questions. Collaborative groups settle on a question, design and conduct an experiment, and analyze data to answer the question. This can be used simply as an exercise in the scientific process, or an engaging way to introduce a human body unit.
