Being safe in school is of upmost importance! This lesson, designed for very young learners, reviews some very important safety rules with the whole class. Topics covered are how to walk safely up and down the stairs, how to correctly pass a pencil or pair of scissors to someone, and how to safely walk past swings when someone is on them. Children make posters about safety for homework, then receive a safety badge when they bring it into school. This resource goes along with the Arthur episode "D.W. Blows the Whistle."
