Learners explore the concept of self-esteem and listen to a story.  In this IALAC (I am lovable and capable) story lesson plan, students examine the impact that certain life events have on a person's developing self-esteem. Learners respond to the story and discover that young people are very resilient and a close relationship with a parent makes a big difference.
