In this geometry instructional activity, 10th graders are presented with a problem involving semicircles.  The diagram appears simple, though it turns out to have a many segments to be labeled with variables.  The key to solving the problem is discovering the correct method of labeling.  The one page instructional activity contains one problem with solution.
