[Free Registration/Login Required] Young scholars use primary source documents to investigate central historical questions. In this investigation students study the Spanish-American War by watching a documentary video, reading a telegram describing Spanish treatment of Cubans, and examining an American campaign speech to explore the long-term reasons for why the US invaded Cuba in 1898.
