Instructional Ideas
  • The resource calls for role playing; take it a step further and have small groups compose short scripts and present their work in front of the class
  • Since there are quite a few activities, you can easily assign the more straightforward ones for homework and work on the more complex ones, like the writing assignments and conversation practice, in class
Classroom Considerations
  • More scaffolding and support will need to be put in place for some of the writing exercises; while samples are provided, you may wish to come up with a graphic organizer or template
  • See the materials tab for the answer keys, audio recordings, vocabulary definitions, and more
  • Some of the exercises in the document go onto a second page that also includes another exercise; the formatting isn't perfect
  • This resource is only available on an unencrypted HTTP website. It should be fine for general use, but don’t use it to share any personally identifiable information
  • Provides plenty of opportunities to practice the vocabulary and grammar concepts
  • Includes all sorts of materials to support the variety of exercises and activities
