Simplifying Radicals

In this radicals learning exercise, 9th graders solve and complete 15 different problems that include simplifying a number of radical expressions. First, they factor the expression under the radical sign to its prime factors. Then, students take out one of the factors for every pair inside the sign. They multiply whatever is outside the sign.
