Singapore Math: Grade 3a, Unit 1 (part 7)

Third graders use the numbers zero, four, and five to make as many three-digit numbers as they can. Sal explains that to make the largest number possible, one would need to put the largest number in the highest place. Each step and Sal's thought process is shared with the viewer, making this video developmentally sound and extremely effective in conveying the concept of place value.
