Slope-Intercept Form of a Line

Using the subscriber website Explorelearning.com, young mathematicians observe changes in the slope and y-intercept and their effect on the graph of lines. This activity helps learners develop an intuitive sense of the connection between an equation in slope-intercept form and its graph. Tip:This assumes the use of a computer for either individual or small group work; however, it could also be taught using a single computer in a teacher-directed lecture.
