Instructional Ideas

  • As you read, have kids circle each -ack word they come across
  • Have learners work on marking the text by underlining or highlighting where they found the answers to the comprehension questions
  • Use this in a teacher-led station
  • Read the poem out loud as a whole class or in small groups to get the full effect of all those -ack words
Pros
