STEMbite: Mirrors and Reflection

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Reflect on reflections by viewing this video. Looking in his bathroom mirror, the videographer explains that anything smooth can act as a mirror. He also introduces a curved mirror and demonstrates how the image differs depending on your distance from it. He does not, however, explain focal point or focal length. It would be more beneficial to your class for you to explain the concepts and then give groups mirrors to experiment with.
