Story Tellers - "Passing on the Traditions"

It's important for young people to learn about their ancestry and the role of storytelling as a means of passing along traditions, information, and lessons. Based on what they already learned about Native American oral tradition, students record their answers to a series of questions as a way of documenting their own oral history. In this case, the recordings were to be played at an art exhibit; however, this is a fun activity that can be adapted for a number of purposes.
