Sugar in Tea

Little chemists address whether or not you can get sugar back out of tea after it has dissolved. The PowerPoint itself simply walks them through the questioning process, considering different possibilities. The final slide settles on evaporation of the water (or rather, tea) and gives the learners a few more questions to think about. Follow-up this cute slide show by having your class dissolve sugar in hot tea and then pour small amounts into dishes to let it evaporate. Use this to introduce them to the scientific method.
