Summer Water & Sand Activity: Go with the Flow

Students discover different materials that help to transport water in order to develop their observation and problem solving science skills. In this water lesson, students first brainstorm about different ways that water can be moved; they then predict what type of materials can be used to move water. Students work in small groups to conduct experiments using several materials; teacher keeps a record of each group's results.
