Here, learners use a picture to estimate the number of people at a large event, look for potential problems with surveys, and use HTML codes to estimate the number of pages on the web. It can easily be adapted to accommodate other grade levels. Part of the activity requires Internet access and knowledge of Python 2.7 or Sage.
