Following the formative assessment of this unit, young scholars present the information they gathered on their specific colonial trade to the rest of the class. Working in groups, learners create posters describing the particular job they researched over the past three weeks. These posters are displayed in a gallery walk, during which students share their knowledge with their peers. The lesson ends with an activity involving the use of string to build a web demonstrating the interdependence of the different colonial trades. An excellent lesson that perfectly concludes this researched-based interdisciplinary unit.
