Tessellations

For this tessellations worksheet, 10th graders complete 8 various types of problems related to a tessellation of the plane by regular polyhedral. First, they draw the vertex figures for each of three regular tessellations and determine whether they are the same at every vertex. Then, students extend each tessellation, draw the vertex figures, and decide if the tessellation is regular and explain why.
