Instructional Ideas

  • Have learners illustrate their personal carbon cycles

Classroom Considerations

  • Spread out the seven areas as much as possible to reduce crowding
  • If you have a large class, consider having multiple dice or sheets at each station to prevent congestion

Pros

  • Engaging lesson involves movement rather than sitting in a lecture or reading from a book
  • Resource provides an alternative to dice for classrooms that do not have enough for all learners
  • A great activity for teaching the carbon cycle

Cons

  • None
