Scholars learn about the carbon cycle, from ways carbon is removed from the atmosphere to how it is added in an 18-slide presentation. Slides also include a discussion about balanced and unbalanced carbon cycles, carbon footprints, and how all of this plays a role in global warming.

Instructional Ideas

  • Every five slides, insert a question to ask pairs to assess understanding
  • Teacher may want to expand knowledge in the presentation to include carbon sinks and to further discuss global warming
Classroom Considerations

  • Teacher needs a computer, PowerPoint, and a way to project the presentation
