Young scholars understand primary and secondary colors. In this instructional activity about colors, students explore where colors come from. Young scholars paint a picture with the primary paint colors that the teacher has created. Students mix the primary paint colors to make secondary paints colors and paint a picture with those colors. As an extension, young scholars create their own colors.
