The Landscape Through Geographer's Eyes

Students examine different types of landscapes through a geographer's eye. Using a city block or a suburb, they organize their thoughts and take notes to survey a site. They discuss what they have seen and write about how looking at the sites in a different way changes one's perspective.

Lesson Planet has helped me find many ideas for supplementing the curriculum that is provided to me by my school district. I have found many creative, hands-on activities that make my science curriculum "pop".
