The Silent E

Students recognize silent "E" words and learn they should not pronounce the "E" when reading these words. For this Silent "E" Phonics lesson, students learn a song that encompasses the right and wrong way to read a silent "E" word. They then practice spelling a silent "E" word from a group of letters given to them.
